Ett alternativ för att hämma depressioner hade varit St: Johns wort men det visar sig inte säkert det heller

Is St John’s wort safe to take in pregnancy?
We don't have enough evidence to say whether it is safe to take St John's wort while you're pregnant. Because of this uncertainty, the official advice is that you should not take St John’s wort in the three months before you get pregnant and throughout your pregnancy.

If you have been taking antidepressant drugs which your doctor advises you to stop because you're pregnant, you should not take St John’s wort instead.

See your doctor if you are already taking St John's wort and have found out you are pregnant. Stopping the remedy suddenly can make you feel quite unwell and trigger withdrawal effects. Your doctor will be able to advise you about what's best for you.
